- Expanded Eligibility: The scheme has been expanded to include the Emission Trading Scheme sector, comprising large industries and significant fossil fuel users, subject to State aid approval.
- Broadened Scope for Heat Pumps: Support now includes heat pumps utilizing waste heat sources, high-temperature applications, and wider applications in buildings and district heating schemes.
- Additional Upgrade Measures: Support is available for additional upgrade measures in buildings to facilitate the installation of heat pumps.
